There are two flavors of awards: the ones you must be nominated for and the ones you receive out of the blue. Being named one of the top 10 disability advocates on LinkedIn by Favikon falls into the latter category, and I am beyond honored, and what a great group of people to be included with! 
This recognition is a powerful reminder of the impact of our collective efforts. Together, we are creating a world where accessibility is a given, not an exception. This acknowledgment means a lot, but the real reward comes from the change we’re making—tearing down barriers, shifting mindsets, and ensuring that people with disabilities are heard, respected, and included in every conversation.
