Last week, I introduced the concept that accessibility is a culture to be built, not a problem to be solved. Apparently it resonated with a lot of people because I got thousands of reactions and Krispy Kreme actually include this in their launch of their disability ERG. When you build a culture of accessibility, everyone is contributing. You prevent barriers from happening, rather than tearing them down after they’ve been built. This is far and away the most cost effective method of building an accessibility program and improving disability inclusion at your organization.
Alt. You can spend a small amount of money on accessibility and be VERY effective, or a huge amount of money and not make a dent in the backlog
